Hey-o! We’ve been bunked down getting everything ready for the new Motorleague record – which we’ve been pretty tight lipped about …but we have been really busy. We’ve got dates out with CBK & Living With Lions in Sept – we haven’t played an AA show in Moncton or Hailfax in years and we’re really looking forward to it. That said – the dates are posted -stay tuned for a fun new mini-video – and lots of news about the new record to come soon.

The video for You Wear Me Down comes out on Thursday, May 20th – at 10:00AM! This is our 2nd video with The Postman – and we’re really excited to get it out there – so there’s lot’s going on in conjunction!

It was amazing to be back in Newfoundland this weekend – we saw old friends and met tons of new ones – so huge “thank-you”s to everyone who came over to say HI and support the band – it was a blast to play a great show like that and meet so many cool people. We’re working on dates to get back over there soon! (Also thanks to the guys in Rocket Rocket Ship for the awesome T – sorry I didn’t get to see more of your set – but it was awesome.)

New Video for YOU WEAR ME DOWN
In other awesome news……the video for You Wear Me Down debuts online on May 6th.
We shot this sometime ago – I’m not even really sure when – but it’s our 2nd video with The Post Man – who are a fantastic bunch based right here in Moncton, NB Canada. We’ve had a lot of fun working with them and I really hope we get to work with them again soon.
We’ll be holding contests this week leading up to the release – details will be up here and on our facebook page in the next day or two.

Thanks for your last letter – and to answer your question – we will not be changing our name to “Torrential Brownpour” – but we do appreciate the suggestion. You know I have a soft spot for anything Dysentery related.
Black Noise – The record we released last May – is almost 1 year old now! But we’ve been really busy working on the follow up in Toronto. The new record doesn’t have a name yet but it should be out in the fall and to answer your 2nd question – no we will not be calling it “To Kill A MockingTurd“ – but again we appreciate your input.
We’ll finally be back in Newfoundland again too! We haven’t been over since last July - so we’re long overdue. We’ll be performing at the Junos this year on Saturday, April 17th at The Delta Ballroom opening for Alexisonfire so hopefully we’ll see you there.

We’ve been lucky enough to have some great photographers at our shows lately – check out some of the amazing work from: Mike Erb – ECMA 2010 – awesome shots of so many great bands – thanks Mike!! 3GeeksWithCameras – the lovely crew from the aforementioned 3 Geeks – were out last weekend and shot some great stills from the rock and roll that went down at Paragon last weekend – the show ended in a mess of people on stage so Ziggy says there’s a 34% chance you’re in one of these photos.
So last week we entered this contest called SHOW US YOUR .CA – the winners get MacBooks or Ipods or Cameras(because we really need to shoot more video of ourselves) – and we definitely need a new IPOD for the van – so we made a video of Ryan being Ryan – I’m not sure it’s worthy of “EPIC” but it’s definitely worthy of “PRETY CLOSE TO EPIC” so check out Ryan “The Bod McDons” in all his glory.
